WHO WE ARE

Our Roots

Back in 1947, just after World War II - a group of bellringers gathered for a week's cycle tour. Little did they think that over 70 years later, the Society of Roving Ringers would have been on tour every year since (except 2020!).

We're a friendly and inclusive group of ringers of all ages & abilities. We meet annually in July/August for a week's tour. We also have a weekend reunion and annual dinner each February (without our bikes). Between events, we keep in touch via social media & email updates.
